About Dr. Terry A Rondberg Rondberg_Terry.jpg

After being drawn to the philosophy of natural healing, Dr. Rondberg earned his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in 1974.  He has devoted himself to helping others achieve their optimum level of health and wellbeing.

A practitioner of yoga and martial arts for over 37 years, Dr. Terry Rondberg has received one-on-one training from Yoga masters and martial art teachers, shamans and energy healers in India, China, Australia, New Zealand, South America and London. In turn, he has shared that knowledge with thousands of doctors he has trained over the last four decades.

Dr. Rondberg has written extensively about wellness care, including its use in relieving insomnia, stress, fibromyalgia, and back pain, and enhancing general wellness. His knowledge of nutrition and the wellness lifestyle come both from his personal experience and long-term involvement in the nutrition and wellness industries. He has been called upon to advise and endorse many wellness products.

The author of hundreds of articles on wellness, Dr. Rondberg is also a popular speaker at health and wellness conferences and seminars, and has brought the wellness message to audiences as a guest on numerous TV and radio shows.

Dr. Rondberg is the founder and president of the non-profit World Chiropractic Alliance (WCA), chiropractic educational and advocacy organization, with a membership that includes doctors and students from the United States and from nations around the globe.

As the sole chiropractic organization to be recognized as an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) affiliated with the United Nations Department of Public Information, the WCA has played a role in introducing chiropractic to developing nations, and informing health officials about CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine).

Under Dr. Rondberg’s leadership, the WCA established a liaison to the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, and worked with the WHO to develop the "WHO Guidelines on Basic Training and Safety in Chiropractic." The WCA also sponsored the first NGO workshop on chiropractic, called "The Role of Chiropractic Care in Global Wellness" at the International Conference of NGOs in Korea.

Dr. Rondberg’s expertise and leadership in the chiropractic profession in the United States led him to serve as a special member of the Department of Defense Chiropractic Advisory Committee in 2005. The appointment was approved by Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense. The invitation was extended by Richard A. Mayo, deputy director of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense/Health Affairs, who told him: “I believe you will be able to contribute advice and recommendations regarding the continued development and implementation of an effective program of chiropractic health care benefits for members of the uniformed services on active duty.”

Dr. Rondberg founded, wrote articles and monthly columns for, and served as publisher for 27 years of The Chiropractic Journal. Dr. Rondberg founded and serves on the board of directors of the Council on Chiropractic Practice, charged with developing evidenced-based practice guidelines for the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Rondberg is the author of “Chiropractic First,” which has sold more than two million copies. Other books he has written include “Under the Influence of Modern Medicine,” “Chiropractic Compassion and Expectation,”and “The Evolution of Chiropractic.”

An influential political activist instrumental in the passage of state and federal bills, Dr. Rondberg frequently led lobbying efforts to expand the acceptance of chiropractic and other Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). He is also a strong proponent of scientific research, and has supported numerous research projects on CAM disciplines.

No longer practicing chiropractic, and after more than forty years in that profession, Dr. Rondberg has chosen to focus on energy healing. He understands the need people have to deeply heal themselves by taking an integrative approach to health.

Dr. Rondberg earned a Diplomate in Energy Medicine from the American Association of Integrative Medicine and currently serves as a member of that national organization’s Board.   He is also a licensed certified massage therapist in the state of California.

Dr. Rondberg has trained thousands of chiropractors in wellness and lifestyle coaching. He developed the Bioenergy Technique, a leading-edge and advanced massage technique. He continues to explore the best and latest technologies and information available in order to deliver the highest quality wellness care, motivational coaching and education.

Dr. Rondberg’s approach is to help the individual unwind tension they are holding onto in their system from stress in their lives. This allows each person to realize the responsibility they have for their own health.  Our ultimate goal is to help members achieve a lifestyle that supports their optimum health and well-being.  Dr. Rondberg teaches members how specific lifestyle choices can help them overcome patterns of chronic stress that challenge their health. These changes are implemented when the member is ready, ultimately providing increasing levels of wellness.

Dr. Rondberg is available to speak to your group or organization on the topic of wellness.
